Hispanic Partnerships
The U.S. Army will serve as sponsor at the 81st annual convention for the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) organization. The mission of LULAC is to advance the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health and civil rights of the Hispanic population of the United States. LULAC is the nation’s oldest and largest Hispanic organization with thousands of members organized into more than 700 LULAC Councils in virtually every state of the nation and in Puerto Rico. LULAC is best known for its efforts in supporting voting rights and full access to the political process and equal educational opportunities for Hispanic children.
