The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) represent more than 400 colleges and universities through the U.S., Puerto Rico, Latin America and Spain. This national, community-based organization is dedicated to improving education opportunities for Hispanic high school, junior college and university students, through scholarship disbursements, mentorship programs, internship opportunities and workshop executions. The U.S. Army has participated in the organization’s national conference, which attracts more than 5,000 attendees, for the past four years with the objective of educating influencers (parents and COIs) to provide information on the Army as a career choice through the ROTC program and to establish and strengthen support for Army recruiting.
