Sergeant First Class Robert Bozeman
SFC Robert K. Bozeman is currently serving as the Operations Sergeant for the 4th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, GA.
SFC Robert Bozeman joined the Army in 1988 attending basic training at Fort Benning, GA. He then was stationed with the 4-87th Infantry, 25th Infantry Division Schofield Barracks, HI. SFC Bozeman also served in various assignments located in Korea, Fort Polk, Germany, Fort Jackson, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Charleston, and Fort Stewart. His Military Occupation Specialties include Infantry, Power Generation Mechanic, Recruiter, and Cavalry Scout.
SFC Bozeman deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom three times with the following major commands. 2nd Armor Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Division, and the most recent with 3rd Infantry Division. His leadership positions have included Senior Scout and section Sergeant, Battle NCO, and Leader Engagement Team Platoon Sergeant. During his last deployment SFC Bozeman played a major role in both the transfer of Babil Province to Iraqi control and the creation of an Iraqi Army Route Clearance Academy.
SFC Bozeman’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal (six OLC), Army Achievement Medal (five OLC), Good Conduct Medal (fourth Award), Army National Guard Recruiter Badge, Career Counselor Badge, Air Assault Badge, Expert Infantryman’s Badge, and Combat Action Badge.
SFC Bozeman earned a Bachelors Degree in Business from the Citadel, and attended Gainesville High school.
SFC Bozeman grew up in Gainesville Florida from 1975 until 1984 attending JJ Finley Elementary, Westwood Middle School and Gainesville High School.
